The Colorado Toy Train Foundation invites you to attend a presentation on:
The Twilight Years of the D&RGW Narrow Gauge
Sept. 10, 2022 @ 9:00 a.m. -- Pre-registration is required
Optional Breakfast & Social @ 8:00 a.m.
CTTG is excited to offer this interesting program on the final years of the D&RGW narrow gauge line from Alamosa to Durango, Colorado. The featured speaker is John Charles, a retired Dispatcher for the Southern Pacific RR. Mr Charles’ devoted interest in the narrow gauge railroads of Colorado resulted in a mammoth photo collection and an in-depth knowledge of its operation. For those of you who have ridden the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR or the Durango & Silverton RR, this program will have significant value.
Free: The program is open to everyone and is FREE! That is right, there is no charge to attend, but we ask that you preregister so we can set up the required chairs.
If you are interested, breakfast will be available for $10. Breakfast will consist of (1) breakfast burrito, (2) fresh fruit, (3) yogurt, (4) orange juice, and (5) coffee. You must indicate on the registration form if you wish to have breakfast and mail your $10 check to Mike Zimmerman (address on registration form).
